The Ministry of Labor of Russia reported that all recipients of old-age and disability insurance benefits are eligible for recalculation, for which their employers paid insurance premiums in 2016. At the same time, with no statements, you do not need to run anywhere. "The adjustment is non-mandatory," the ministry said.
The department recalled that the non-working pension age Russians once a year - from February 1 - is indexing pensions, that is an increase to the level of last year's inflation. So, on February 1 this year, pensions were indexed by 5.4 percent. Prices soared in 2016.

Working pensioners before pensions were also indexed. But in 2016 it was decided to leave only recalculation (indexation will be made after the dismissal). The adjustment is purely individual. Its size depends on the level of the salary of the working pensioner and, accordingly, on the amount paid by the employer for insurance premiums and accrued retirement points.
The maximum increase, as explained in the Pension Fund of Russia, is limited to the value of three pension points. "The cost of the score changed in 2016, but for the majority of working pensioners, the score will cost 74.27 rubles," the Pension Fund said. "Thus, the maximum increase will be just over 222 rubles. Meanwhile, the State Duma is discussing the possibility of returning to indexing pensions for working pensioners. However, so far only those who have low salaries. For example, employees of the budgetary sphere engaged in low-skilled labor and for whom any increase is valuable.
