In Russia,
launched a new program for concessional lending to small and medium-sized
businesses, according to the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of
Russia, with reference to the words of the deputy head of the department Oleg
Fomichev.
Under the new program, banks and other lending institutions will receive
subsidies from the federal budget for reimbursement of lost income on loans
that were granted this year to small and medium-sized businesses at a reduced
rate.
The volume of credit borrowing that can be provided under this program may
reach 50 billion rubles, Fomichev noted.
The subsidy of the reimbursement program itself will be calculated taking into
account the difference between the Bank of Russia key rate indicator on the
date of payment of the subsidy and the interest rate that the mega-regulator
established under the "Program 6.5" (the program for stimulating
small business loans by banks).
Agreements on the provision of funds will be concluded with banks in July this
year, specified in the Ministry of Economic Development.
