Specialists of
the Ministry of Labor of Russia believe that the employer can send a payroll on
wages to the employee's e-mail.
The Labor Code obliges the employer to notify every employee in writing of
wages in the payment of wages:
- on the components of wages due to him for the relevant period;
- on the amounts of other amounts accrued to the employee, including monetary
compensation for violation by the employer of the prescribed period,
respectively, payment of wages, payment of leave, payment upon dismissal and
(or) other payments due to the employee;
- the size and the grounds of the deductions made;
- on the total amount of money due for payment.
Such requirements are contained in Art. 136 of the LC RF. The purpose of
issuing a settlement sheet is to inform the employee about what makes up his
next salary. The form of the settlement sheet is approved by the employer
(clause 2, article 136 of the LC RF).
In a letter of 14.02.2017 No. 14-1 / OOG, experts of the Ministry of Labor of
Russia noted that the Labor Code does not regulate the procedure for notifying
the employee of the components of wages. Therefore, if the labor contract
(collective agreement, local normative act) provides for the procedure for
notifying the employee of the components of wages (payment slip) via e-mail, this
procedure does not violate the provisions of Art. 136 of the LC RF.
