President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on May 24 proposed the indexation of salaries taking into account inflation for those categories of state employees that were not noted in the May 2012 decrees.
He said this, opening the meeting with members of the government.
Putin instructed the government to work out options and submit proposals on this matter.
"I ask you not to delay, we must discuss this in the near future, I mean that we are actively working on the preparation of the budget for 2018," he stressed.
The head of state drew attention to the fact that the topic of raising wages in the budgetary sphere concerns millions of Russians. He recalled that according to the May decrees, in 2018 it is necessary to reach the set parameters for increasing salaries for "specified" categories of state employees.
"May decrees" - 11 documents with assignments to the government, which were signed by Vladimir Putin in May 2012. They outlined the necessary measures designed to improve the quality of life of Russians.
