In March 2016, marked a slight increase in average real wages compared to the same period last year, but its level has not yet recovered, said Layf.ru Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maxim Topilin.
"In March, there was a slight increase in real wages, on average, it is a very good signal relative to last year's March. This does not mean that wages have recovered, in which they fell almost 10% in real terms last year, everyone should be very attentive to wages ", - said M. Topilin, noting that it is necessary to begin restoring the level of salaries.
The minister also noted that the unemployment rate currently remains within the forecast.
"Do not expect any surge in unemployment, if all goes as is happening now. Enterprises have adapted to the new coordinate system in the whole, the overall unemployment rate now stands at 5.8-5.9% ", - he said.
As a result, the Ministry of Labor predicts unemployment at the level of 6%.
According to Rosstat, real wages in March 2016 to March 2015 had grown by 1.6%.
