
Ministry of
Agriculture of the Russian Federation in 2017, additional funds to subsidize
the rate of short-term loans and the reimbursement of capital costs to farmers.
This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation,
Alexander Tkachev, speaking at a forum in the framework of the exhibition
"Golden Autumn".
"We need additional funds of the order of 30-40 billion rubles to cover
the country's needs for one year", - said the head of department.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, to subsidize interest rates on
subsidized loans will require about 30 billion rubles, and in the recovery of
capital costs - 10 billion.
Now for 2017 draft budget provides for only 5 billion rubles to support
concessional lending at a rate of no more than 5% per annum. Such a mechanism
will be operational from 1 January. It is also proposed to increase the
recovery of capital costs to farmers for the construction and modernization of
dairy farms with 20 to 35%, and in the Far Eastern Federal District - up to
40%.
