The bill on the initiative actions of the employment services will make it possible to employ 23 thousand invalids

The RF Government Commission on Legislative Activity approved the draft law on the initiative actions of the employment services, which relate to the employment of disabled people, the official website of the Cabinet said. The document, in particular, provides for measures to increase the initiative nature of the actions of social services in helping disabled people find work and keep their current jobs. According to the idea of the Ministry of Labor experts, who initiated the bill, its adoption will annually guarantee the employment of about 23 thousand disabled people throughout the country. It is noted that by January 1 of the current year only 32% of disabled people of working age had been employed. At the same time, only 15% of people with disabilities benefited from employment services in 2016. The bill has been prepared by the Ministry of Labor of Russia and will be considered at a government meeting in the near future.
