Small cities of the Russian Federation, attracting investors in the housing sector, can provide financial support

The Ministry of construction and housing and communal services of Russia have prepared and submitted to the government a draft decree providing for financial support for preparation and implementation of investment projects in small towns (with a population of 250 thousand people). As reported the press service of the Ministry of the Russian Federation, it was stated by the head of Department Mikhail Men. According to him, in the big cities after the adoption of the legislation on concession agreements of the problems with attracting private investment in housing sector, almost none. "In major cities have launched a competition, which is good, because it is a struggle for the quality of services provided. In small towns the situation is quite different, without support it is difficult for them to do", – said Mikhail Men. The Minister said that the draft resolution we are talking about the allocation of Federal housing aid 2 billion in financial support to small towns. "With the support of the Fund such projects should not exceed 60%, the share of regional funds, municipal budgets – not less than 20%, investors' funds – not less than 20%," – said Mikhail Men.
