Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 17 sent a greeting to the delegates and guests of the XXVIII Congress of Peasants' Association (farmer) farms and agricultural cooperatives Russia (ACCOR).

"For a short historical period of Russian farming convincingly proved its economic and social importance, has become a major creative force, worthy of continued the best traditions of peasant labor, which has always been famous for our country", - he stressed the head of state.

He noted that in many respects thanks to the zealous, caring relation to farmers' land of enterprise and initiative, introducing advanced technology, effective agricultural cooperation model, improving production standards.

"I am confident that these are the energetic, competent, genuinely love their work specialists - a basis of development of the Russian countryside, a guarantee of its successful future", - Putin said.

He noted that the ACCOR activity makes a significant contribution to the consolidation of the professional community, the strengthening of the constructive dialogue with the State in the implementation of agricultural policy, addressing pressing industry problems, reports the Kremlin press service.
