Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said May 3 that restrictions on the supply of Russian grain to Turkey were canceled.

He told about this after the talks between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi.

"I will repeat what the president said. We agreed on an integrated solution that all individual limitations of the parties are removed. There are nuances in terms of when, what to do. But in general, all restrictions, except for the general visa regime and special arrangements for tomatoes, are removed. Arrangements include grain, "the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

Dvorkovich expressed the hope that the lifting of the restrictions on the supply of food will be formalized by the Russian Federation and Turkey within a few days, Tass reports.

As the Internet portal "Kuban 24" wrote, the presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan concluded talks in Sochi on May 3.

In March, information appeared that the Turkish authorities were going to deprive Russia of the right to duty-free supply of wheat, corn and sunflower meal. Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev said that Turkey's restrictions on the export of Russian grain can contribute to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region. Later, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia received official information on the introduction of duties on imports of Russian products by Turkey.
