The federal law provides for the extraordinary provision of a free land plot for individual housing construction and personal subsidiary farming.

The federal law was passed by the State Duma on June 23 and approved by the Federation Council on June 28. Later, the document was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The document says that Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of Russia and full Knights of the Order of Glory will be granted land plots "in state or municipal ownership without bidding for individual housing construction, personal subsidiary farming, country housekeeping, gardening, truck farming in accordance With the maximum (maximum and minimum) sizes of land plots to be established in accordance with land legislation. "

At the same time, the area of ​​the plots should be at least 0,20 hectares within the boundaries of urban settlements and 0,40 hectares within the boundaries of rural settlements and on lands of other categories.
