Putin instructed to launch a mechanism for resettlement of emergency housing since 2019

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on April 4 instructed the government together with the regions to develop a mechanism for resettlement of emergency housing and begin its implementation from January 1, 2019.

He said this at a joint meeting of the State Council and the Commission on Monitoring the achievement of the target indicators of the country's socio-economic development.

"I instruct the Government of the Russian Federation together with the regions to develop permanent mechanisms for resettlement of the emergency housing stock and to launch them from January 1, 2019, and during the transition period I propose to extend the work of the housing and communal services fund, which has generally proved its effectiveness," the president said.

According to him, the draft law on this issue in the government has been worked out and is ready to be adopted. Putin asked to look into the details in detail when "people for formal, often far-fetched reasons were not included in the resettlement program." The President also offered to financially encourage the regions for the timely completion of the resettlement program.

The federal program for the resettlement of emergency housing has been working since 2008. In total, it is planned to settle over 11 million square meters. M of housing, recognized as an emergency until 2012. The program is scheduled to be completed in September. Moscow, Ryazan, Magadan, Rostov, Tambov, Tyumen, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, the Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs, Moscow and St. Petersburg have completely completed settlement, Interfax reports.
