On March 22, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) ordered PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port to transfer to the federal budget the income that it received from monopolistic activities.
The agency notes that the company supported monopolistically high prices for services on transshipment of ore, fertilizers, containers, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, oil and oil products in the port of Novorossiysk.

The FAS Commission found that NCSP determined the prices for services provided in US dollars. The company increased the cost of services for loading and unloading cargo in the export-import segment from January 1, 2015.

The composition of buyers of services for loading and unloading has changed insignificantly. At the same time, the profit received by NCSP in 2015 increased twice as compared to the previous year, the profitability increased from 56 to 300%.

The FAS found that the company, which holds a dominant position, had no grounds for growth rates in 2015. It abused its dominant position by imposing a monopolistically high price. Specialists of the department note that violations could have been avoided if NCSP had not determined the cost of its services in dollars.

The Presidium of the Antimonopoly Service issued to the enterprise an order to transfer to the federal budget the income received from monopolistic activities
