Krasnodar companies at the largest international food exhibition in the United Arab Emirates

The Gulfood Forum takes place in Dubai until January 30, 2026. The stand of the Krasnodar Region features products from four companies.

«The United Arab Emirates has long been Russia's top trading partner in the Arab world and consistently ranks among the Krasnodar Region's top five export markets. Over the first nine months of last year, the value of exports from the Krasnodar Region to the UAE increased by 37%. The Krasnodar Region's non-resource non-energy exports to the UAE encompass a wide range of goods, including organic chemical compounds, plastics, and agricultural and food products. The UAE is second-largest economy in the Arab world with a prime geographical location and well-developed transport infrastructure. These factors position the UAE as a major hub for trade and logistics in the Middle East, offering businesses access to markets in Southeast Asia and North Africa,» said Alexander Ruppel, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Region.

The stand of the Krasnodar Region was organised with the support of the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity. Companies from the Krasnodar Region showcase a wide range of products, including fish delicacies, caviar, tinned fruit and vegetables, corn and sunflower oil, confectionery, and their own roasted coffee.

Gulfood is the world's largest trade fair dedicated to the food and processing industries. Gulfood draws over 5,000 exhibitors from 125 countries annually. The event is particularly popular with visitors from the Middle East, as over 95% of food products in the Persian Gulf region are imported.

During the visit, the Krasnodar delegation will present products, negotiate with foreign buyers, and meet UAE government and businesses interested in partnerships with the region.
