In the Russian Federation, they proposed raising the fees for foreign passports and driving licenses

The proposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to increase duties on foreign passports and driver's licenses on June 5 was supported by the government commission on draft law.
If the bill gets support at a government meeting, it will be brought to the State Duma.
State duties for registration of the driver's license of the new generation will grow from 2 thousand rubles to 3 thousand rubles, on biometric passports - from 3,5 thousand to 5 thousand rubles.
It is also proposed to increase the state duty for a new generation of foreign passports for children under 14 years - from 1.5 thousand rubles to 2.5 thousand rubles. Plastic certificate of registration of the car will cost three times more expensive than paper - 1,5 thousand rubles against 500 rubles.
The cost of old paper samples of the same documents is expected to be preserved.
