In Russia will create a new company - the organizer of the Grand Prix "Formula 1"

The decision to change the company - the organizer of the Russian stage of the World Championship in motor racing in the class of cars "Formula-1" was officially achieved.
This June 25, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak. Earlier, in the framework of the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, he met with the Executive Director of Formula 1 Chase Carey.
"We continue to cooperate, I recall that we extended the contract until 2025, and today we finally agreed that the company will be replaced - the promoter," Kozak said.
He specified that it would no longer be the Krasnodar company "Omega", but a new organization, the founders of which would be private companies.
"We already have more budget financing for this event, it's already paid by business exclusively, it will be the founder of the company - the promoter. These decisions have been made, we agreed on this, the contract will be reissued for a new company the next year ", - quotes Kozak TASS.
As the Internet portal "Kuban 24" wrote, the founders of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Russia will be the sponsors of the competitions and "Sochi Avtodroma".
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) in June set the date for the Russian stage of the Formula-1 season of 2018. The "Royal Race" in Sochi will be held from 28 to 30 September.
