In Russia introduced an increased financial responsibility for managing companies properly assessed utilities.

This Jan. 16, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. According to the vice-premier, the requirement came into effect on 1 January.

"For over-charging will be charged up to 50% of the amount unduly charged. Until now, this liability was not ", - said Kozak.

Medvedev approved the rules of public control over the activity of enterprises in the sphere of housing and communal services. Kozak said that this regulation, in particular, additional guarantees admission of non-governmental organizations and citizens to public scrutiny, along with housing inspections.
