The average price of packaging by the beginning of July rose to 25 rubles - at the end of the second quarter of last year it was 19.5 rubles. The motherwort most went up by 44.6%. The average price of this drug has risen to 20.8 rubles per package. Also significantly increased the price of hawthorn - by 37.4%. At the same time, pharmacy income from sales of motherwort infusions increased by 25%. But the profit from the sale of tinctures of hawthorn, on the contrary, decreased by 10%. This is due to a drop in demand for hawthorn almost twofold.
Valerian and propolis became more popular. While the cost of the first increased only by 15%, the total revenue increased by 30%.
The drop in consumer demand is observed for all alcohol-containing products in pharmacies. While the average price in this category increased by 25%, the total revenue from sales increased by only 10%. This year, pharmacies managed to sell tinctures at 1.03 billion rubles, and last year - 943 million rubles.
In the first six months of 2016, 12% more alcohol-containing medicines were sold than in the same period in 2017. This year, 42.5 million bottles were sold, and in the past - 48.6 million.
