Vet certification of dairy products of the Russian Federation will make mandatory in 2018

Manufacturers will be obliged to obtain veterinary certificates for dairy products from January 1, 2018.

Deputy Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Nikolai Vlasov said that the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on the approval of the list of controlled goods subject to veterinary support supporting documents, does not provide for the introduction of certification from 1 March.
"The order read incorrectly, it refers only to the product list, which is subject to electronic veterinary certification or she will be subject to 1 January 2018", - said Vlasov.
He added that vetsertifikatsiyu drinking milk may be carried out on a voluntary basis. Many manufacturers are already doing so, reports "Interfax".
The press service of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for Krasnodar Territory Internet portal "Kuban 24" said that for a long time carried out similar research products, the company which produces the region.
"All products must be accompanied by special veterinary findings, which give the results of research. The purpose of audits - to identify adulterated products whose composition is not as declared on the package, "- said the press service.
The ministry noted that the level of sales prices and the procedure is not affected. It allows to prevent counterfeit consumer goods. In the near future it will be accredited laboratory, which carries out inspections.
