On the territory of Saki region in the current year it is planned to increase the area sown to crops.

According to the head of the agriculture department Andrei Polchenko, projected growth in acreage of crops for harvest in 2016 is 4% (2.3 thousand. Ha), while grains - 13% (to 6.7 thousand. Ha) of winter crops crops - 16% (to 5.8 thousand. ha).

Taking into account positive factors, including weather conditions, the correct approach to the management of the economy, this year's projected gross yield of grain (in weight after processing) is projected to amount to 145.5 thous. Tonnes (up 16%), sunflower - 3 9 th. tons (an increase of 2%), vegetables - 28.9 thous. tons (up 16%), vegetables - 4.1 thousand. tonnes (up 28%), grape - 2.1 thousand. tonnes ( an increase of 24%).

Also, in 2016 enterprises of the region will be laid 245 hectares of vineyards and 15 hectares of gardens, the "Kryminform."
