The Russian government
approved the signing of the RF draft Protocol on the exchange of information in
electronic form between the tax authorities of the CIS countries, according to
the website of the Cabinet.
"The Protocol provides for electronic interaction between the tax
authorities of the CIS countries and the exchange of information on individual
types of income of legal entities and individuals of these countries, as well
as on certain types of property registered in the territory of the CIS state
and its owners (owners) for the purpose of proper Execution of tax laws,
"the order says.
The signing of the document will strengthen the control over compliance with
tax legislation in Russia.
Earlier it was reported that the Government of Russia had prepared amendments
to the draft law on clarifying the procedure for the imposition of value-added
tax (VAT) on export operations.
