Russia has risen by eight points in the ranking of competitiveness according to the WEF

During 2015, Russia moved from 53 th to 45 th place in the ranking of competitiveness, which is the World Economic Forum.
Russia is in the ranking between Latvia and Mauritius. From the CIS it ahead of Kazakhstan (40th place) and Azerbaijan (42 th). The report noted that the Russian government made efforts to improve the domestic business environment. In their opinion, adversely affect competition on sanctions against Russia and floating prices for raw materials.
The basis for the rankings was the "Global Competitiveness Index", taking into account the 113 indicators. They are grouped into 12 major categories, such as institutions, infrastructure, macroeconomic environment, health, education and training, goods market efficiency and labor market, financial market development, innovation.
