According to him, in 2015 in Russia it was produced about 16.1 million decaliters of champagne and sparkling wines, as well as at least 7 million decaliters of wine carbonated drinks.

The head of the Association of producers of sparkling wines Alan Sokolov indicates that MRC champagne set on an objective level. "The minimum price, which is set, more or less reflect the real picture and even a bit lower - the difference is 5 rubles from what is really going on" - he says.
Sokolov also expressed confidence that the number of champagne consumers will not change significantly.
